Gastro Feastival Ghana: A Culinary Adventure from Farm to Feast (2025)

Get ready for a culinary revolution! Gastro Feastival, an extraordinary celebration of food, culture, and innovation, is about to take Accra by storm.

Reconnecting with Our Roots

In a few weeks, the city will be buzzing with the aroma of delicious food, laughter, and a shared sense of discovery. The Palms Convention Centre will transform into a vibrant culinary wonderland, and the countdown has begun!

This Farmers' Day Weekend (December 5-6, 2025), Charterhouse Productions, the creative masterminds behind Ghana's biggest entertainment events, presents an entirely new experience - Gastro Feastival. It's more than just a festival; it's a movement that aims to reconnect Ghanaians with their agricultural heritage and showcase the untapped potential of agribusiness.

The Food Conversations Begin

But here's where it gets intriguing - the feastival is preceded by thought-provoking conversations. The Gastro Feastival 'Table of 8' podcast series, titled 'From Farm to Feast', has already kicked off. Each episode brings together farmers, investors, chefs, and policymakers for an insightful exchange of ideas and a deep dive into Ghana's food value chain.

Hosted by the charismatic Enyonam Manye, the Ghanaian Farmer, the premiere episode focused on cassava, our overlooked 'white gold'. With guests like Farmer Abeiku Whyte, Agro-Processor Charity Adupong, Esther Kyerewaa Twumasi from the Kosmos Innovation Centre, and others, the evening was a delightful blend of flavors, laughter, and revelations. The menu, curated by PaJohn's and Chef Solomon Otoo Tetteh, featured a three-course cassava-inspired adventure, showcasing the versatility of this humble crop.

A Movement Beyond the Table

And this is the part most people miss - each 'Table of 8' episode will explore a different crop, tracing its journey from farm to feast. It's not just about the food; it's about the stories, the people, and the possibilities that food represents. As Project Lead Priscilla Badake says, "This December, food and innovation will collide, street flavor will blend with fine dining, and jollof will embrace global cuisine. Every bite will be an experience!"

Get ready for an exciting lineup of live chef throwdowns, cooking competitions, street food alleys, international flavor fiestas, and more. There will be something for everyone, from foodies to health enthusiasts, and it promises to be an unforgettable culinary journey.

So, mark your calendars for December 5-6, 2025, and head to The Palms Convention Centre at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. Bring your friends, family, and your appetite, and be a part of this movement that will shape Ghana's food future.
