- Provide in-depth Linux system support via Zendesk, assisting with installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze network, storage, and CPU performance using tools like iperf, iostat, fio, htop, and Wireshark.
- Automate tasks using Bash, Python, or Perl, leveraging tools like grep, sed, and awk for log parsing and data manipulation.
- Manage SSH key-based authentication, VLAN configurations, and understand storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB).
- Research and document Linux system optimizations for the companys knowledge base.
- Communicate technical solutions clearly, including handling difficult customer interactions.
- Hands-on knowledge of scripting, networking, and storage management.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox/KVM).
- Experience with customer support tools like Zendesk.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
