Yo. I've kind of dug my own grave on this and I understand the problem, but I'm trying to find a work around without needing to delete all my sprites.
This is a video showcasing a section of my game and the problem I'm having.
So I understand why the game looks as though its flickering like this, my sprites are using small pixel changes between black and white pixels, causing the game to look as if its flashing or flickering while the camera is moving. I'm trying to brainstorm a way to bypass this without deleting all my sprites I made, and possibly trashing my game's style entirely.
The best route I can think of is changing the way the camera updates/refreshes. Something like having the camera update every tile instead of having it gradually pass like in the video. This would fix the flickering effect. Unfortunately, I don't really know of a way to change how the camera updates. I tried looking for a plugin, but the most I could find is galv's camera control and other mods like this. They don't really control how the game's camera updates like I would need it to.
This is just one solution, but its the best one I can think of at the moment. If you guys know of anything that could possibly help or alleviate this flickering effect then I would very much love to hear it. Again, any help would be appreciated since I've created a bunch of sprites for this style and I really like how its going so far. Thank you.

A good start would be to not make the video private, because we currently can't see it
It seems like you understand the cause of the problem, so could you explain a bit more about where do you think it's coming from? I'm not sure what "small pixel changes" would refer to, and how would that cause a flickering effect.

Uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++, go the Microsoft Visual C++ website, then redownload everything, make sure you include the latest one. I am not sure how goes your flickering. But in my case, it was showing animation to be in continuous loop, and I used this method to solve it. Because I can't watch your video xD

Lol sorry, I guess I miskicked private when I meant to click unlisted.
Here's the video. So my sprites use only black, white, and grey, its the style I'm going for. Sort of like World of Horror, if you know what that is. What I mean when I say "small pixel changes" is that on my sprites, I have a lot of literal pixel size changes between black and white, the most contrasting colors. Normally it would be fine, but when such a drastic color change is happening at a literal pixel level, when the camera moves, they blur together, or create a strobe like effect/flashing. I'll link one of my tile sheets so you can see what I mean.
That being said, I've tried increasing the space between the contrasting pixels, but it still just creates the effect when moving the camera. I think the issue may lie in my game resolution, I've tried to shrink the resolution but all it did was zoom in, not what I wanted. I'm using the default 816 by 624.

Have you thought about adjusting some of the tiles/art? It seems like only the floor tiles and walls of the house flicker. As for a work around though, perhaps you could setup a camera system similar to the old school Legend of Zelda games? Where each screen is it's own separate map and you scroll to the adjacent map. I suppose that would still cause flickering when scrolling to the next map
edit: Didn't see that you tried adjusting the art already

Yeah, I really just need a camera adjustment. Like I said, something that updates the camera from tile to tile instead of gradually scrolling would be perfect. I feel like its something that can be done, but I really don't know.
